A sign of the times

With APEC hitting Sydney this week (21 world leaders from nations comprising over 50% of global GDP), I'm looking for a sign. That is, a sign to go up out the front of our church. Any suggestions?

The current sign reads Thank God you're here. I'm intrigued to frequently find new people mentioning the sign as one reason they felt willing to check out our church. Earlier this year, I mentioned a few previous attempts, and also posted some pictures of the board.

How about something eschatological like: "When Jesus visits Sydney, it won't just be an inconvenience."

I know you love confrontation, Byron, so here's my suggestion.

How about,

"God's economy is generosity."

Gordon - I do love confrontation, when it done with respect and love.

For those who missed Gordon's suggestion, it was:

APEC* must repent
*All People Except Christians

As this is being discussed over on the board to which Gordon linked, I won't say more here, except to put my counter-suggestion:

APEC* must repent
*All People, Even Christians

Cyberpastor - I like it. Tim and I were trying to think of something about economics and prosperity, but ours were all negative ("there is more to life than prosperity", etc).

Here's another one I like, by Roger Bray:

I rather like:

APEC* must repent
*All People, Even Cheng

Mind you, while I think that it might create a bit of conversation in Anglican circles, it won't mean anything to the general public.

I'd possibly take your suggestion, but recognising that a bit of self-deprecation works a treat, I'd go a little further:

*All People, Especially Christians

Just to round things off, this is one I thought of on the way to work:

"Jesus: A world leader who doesn't believe in barriers."
