Where do all the teaspoons go?

Check it out: a longitudinal cohort study of the displacement of teaspoons in an Australian research institute. Australian science at its best. I think I've just been converted to 'counterphenomenological resistentialism'.

They could have at least studied something more useful - like where the heck sock mates end up? Even after a recent purge I still have a big hatful of singles in my closet! Now there is a study I'd like to read. :-)

I read this quite some time ago... so very useful! It is certainly relevant to my workplace, where the study can also be applied to migratory movements of forks, and at a lesser rate, normal sized spoons.

Perhaps swallows could be involved? Although I'm not sure if they would be African or European swallows...
