When people see the lives of Christians, is this what they assume Jesus was probably saying?
Friedrich Nietzsche said, "I might believe in the Redeemer if his followers looked more redeemed."

Thoughts like this crossed my mind in church this morning as we were invited to a cordon bleau evangelistic event. Conservative evangelicals used to wring their hands at the suggestion of a food kitchen or giving out food parcels to the poor. "What about evangelism?" people kept asking. Now all you have to do is make sure that you are giving food to people who don't need it or shouldn't be eating so much of it and you can cal it evangelism.
