I think you misunderstand: I am opposed to quotes WITHOUT COMMENT.

I ordinarily skip posts that are just quotes.
MPJ - no, I understand. I just disagree. Don't read quotes if you don't want to, but I'll happily keep posting them and pretending that I'm blogging. Sometimes I might bother to say why I'm quoting; sometimes the quote is enough.
