November points table

October's only point-scorers were all seasoned guessers, each already over 100 points. As usual, ten more go to Jonathan, five to Moffitt the prophet, three to Martin Kemp and one to Anthony for taking out the top (and only) four spots. There are still around 444 points on offer.

November points table

31: Anthony
20: Nico
15: Matt Lemieux
14: Martin Kemp
12: Duncan Andrews
10: Carlie
7: Tim R
5: David Ould, Michael Jensen
4: Erin King, Joshua, Moffitt the Prophet, Rachel
3: Steve
Ten points to anyone who doesn't recognise this building. Bonus points for creative mis-recognitions.

is it the opera house?

Well, points to everyone except anonymous (who, in virtue of being anonymous, can't score points anyway) for failing to recognise the Sydney Opera House. I'm going to give ten to Marty, seven to Tim R, and four to Moffitt, Anthony, Joshua, Erin and Rachel.

OK - so that was a very silly competition.

OK - five points, though since it was a very silly competition, I might call it quits there.

Byron, you're too hard on yourself. It can't have been silly - it gave Marty the chance to deliver that perfectly dry one-liner that I'm still smiling about. Worth it just for that. I'll never be able to look at the new Barnies without wondering where they've put the orchestra pit...

Oh, and I'll nominate myself to take out the monthly table. If I'm really lucky, this will inspire someone to overtake me and give me a shot at the catch-22!

Anthony - nice try, but I've stopped offering points for guessing the monthly winner since in previous months, no one guessed until the very end when it was already clear. Or they guessed for themselves. Or both. :-)

You won the month in any case.
