Obama meets Bartlet

If you have ever seen The West Wing, then you need to read this (H/T Matt). If you have never seen The West Wing, then you need to get out less.

BARTLET What can I do for you, kid?
OBAMA I’m interested in your advice.
BARTLET I can’t give it to you.
OBAMA Why not?
BARTLET I’m supporting McCain.
OBAMA Why?
BARTLET He’s promised to eradicate evil and that was always on my “to do” list.

Moffitt - I know. I was as surprised as you were when I put in that tag and found that it was new!

Megan and Erin - just sharin' the love.

JRS - he plagarised WW in Parliament? Classic.

Sorry, that's right. Zed Seselja, the leader of the ACT Liberals and potential chief minister blatantly ripped off the West Wing by ending his speech on education in the leaders debate at the National Press Club by saying:
‘We’re not doing nearly enough, not nearly enough to teach our children well. And we can do better and we must do better, and we will do better. And we will start this moment today!’
Which is exactly how Jed Bartlet put it. We only hope such practices will raise the level of speech writing for these events.
